Direct mail is adverting materials sent through the mail directly to a consumers residence. Direct mail utilizes the services or the postal service or other delivery services in order to distribute its materials. To whom the mail is sent to is decided based on various factors including but no limited to geographical location, yearly earnings and age. Some of various forms of material delivered via direct mail, include catalogs, coupon books, and flayers.
